It’s official now, in his keynote at Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference 2005 Steve Jobs announced that by this time next year Apple
will ship Macintosh computers using Intel processors
. By the end of 2007 all models will be running on Intel microprocessors.
Steve Jobs also explained that, since 5 years allready, every release of MacOSX has also been compiled for Intel machines. After saying this he gave a demo on a Dell computer.
