Tomorrow and thursday I’ll be attending the JavaPolis conference in Antwerp for the first time. I wonder if there is a big difference with the JavaOne conference, which I attended last june.
Although I do live in Belgium (and Belgium is a small country) I decided to stay over in Antwerp tomorrow night, because in the evening there’s a meet-up of ex-colleages of The e-Corporation. It will be nice to see some of the faces again from back in the days.
Currently Dell Belgium is offering a 25% discount on their 24″ widescreen LCD Flat Panel Monitors, so price is now only 940 euro. I thought that was a very good reason to order one.
It arrived today. And it really looks stunning.

Ik vond het al grappig dat de nieuwe Aibo, het robot hondje van Sony, RSS feeds kan voorlezen, maar dit slaat echt alles:

Daarnet ontdekt via de website van Wouter Deprez dat er in april 2 voorstellingen van WAR gepland zijn in de Capitole in Gent. Onmiddellijk surfte ik naar Sherpa.be en ontdekte dat de voorstelling van woensdag 26 april reeds uitverkocht is, maar voor zondag 23 april heb ik nog 2 tickets kunnen bemachtigen. Deze plaatsen zijn weliswaar op het balkon, maar ik ben heel blij dat ik eindelijk eens naar een voorstelling van Wouter Deprez kan.
